Penthouse B is a minimalist house located in Linz, Austria, designed by destilat. An open, spacious living room-kitchen-dining area with up to 6.5 meters high, sloping ceilings and an open gallery were designed tailored to the client's needs. The seemingly sacred space uses warm, coarse textured material accenting alongside a very homely atmosphere. The center is a powerfully archaic fireplace with a concrete base made from coarse plaster. (5)
