Playscape is a minimalist exhibition located in Tokyo, Japan, curated by Mikiya Kobayashi. Mikiya Kobayashi wanted to create a place for both adults and children to enjoy as a gratitude to the city, past customers, and those who supported “TAIYOU no SHITA”. With this exhibition, he wanted to express his own personal aesthetic. This exhibition was supported by Karimoku, one of the biggest furniture companies of Japan, with whom Mikiya has strong relationship with from the beginning of his career. The fabrics used on the five objects are from Kvadrat. Playscape has five different items, which anyone can interact with: a swing, seesaw, cradle, mountain (slide) and rocking chair.
