Bellows by Tanaka Hirokazu

Bellows, designed by Tanaka Hirokazu’s office,  is located five minutes away from Meguro Station in Shinigawa, Japan. The structure is 168sqm, and stands three floors tall. The first floor is fitted with a garage and storage warehouse. The second floor leads immediately to the office, and the third floor contains two residential rooms for renting.

Although there are a number of materials used throughout the building’s construction, their clean, modern aesthetic – in and of themselves – pronounce the simplicity of its beautiful interior. As a result, natural light reflects differently across each surface, and produces a harmonious blend of warm and cold elements.
