Bologna Guest House by Enrico Iascone Architects

Name: Bologna Guest House

Designer: Enrico Iascone Architects

Location: Bologna, Italy

Bologna Guest House is a minimalist house located in Bologna, Italy, designed by Enrico Iascone Architects. The structure sits beside a private home in a forest of maple and oak trees. The two-level volume is embedded directly into the surrounding landscape. The thermally isolated wood panels are prefabricated in order to expedite the construction process.

If this is the guest house, then I’m curious to see what the main house looks like. Either way, this is easily one of the most beautifully minimal and sleek architectural designs of seen in a while. I love how how the panels of the exterior facade are a similar tone to the surrounding environment – tucked away int0 the serene forest.
