Since I attribute luxury with superfluous and excessive non-essentials, I never thought it could ever go hand-in-hand with minimalism, but apparently the two can co-exist. While living in Australia, I came across an inordinate amount of magnificently minimalist and well-designed architecture such as Bondi.
