Estudio Explanada by at103 + Tatiana Bilbao

The 2,430 sqm ‘Estudio Explanada,’ designed by at103, is located in a residential area of Mexico City. The client wanted the space to be used as both a studio and private exhibition.

The east and west sides of the building open up to allow viewing of the surrounding flora. The bright interior is fitted with white exposed concrete that accentuates any natural light entering into the building. The atmosphere provides a sense of openness and relaxation.

This project is mainly interested in its spatial qualities, than in the programmatic conditions itself, due to its multiple and diverse events.
