Fantasmagorle is a minimalist home located in Shizuoka, Japan, designed by htmn. The once two-bedroom apartment was renovated into a one-bedroom flex. The architects removed the hardwood floors of this bedroom, and replaced with a polished concrete finish.
The newly converted space is visually connected to the main living room area through the use of semi-opaque films. The film is barely visible enough to see through to the other side, but provides just enough mystery and privacy to keep the spaces separate. When it comes to minimalist Japanese homes, even the slightest touch of individuality and uniqueness piques me interest. What do you guys think of this one?
