Glazed Apartment is a minimalist home located in Barcelona, designed by Sergi Pons. A brick wall divides the apartment into two clearly separate living atmospheres:: day and night. Translucent glass doors glide across the walls to add a semi-transparent filter to not only the rooms, but the walls itself as well.

When I worked in the furniture industry, I did a few interior design projects. My go-to design philosophy was to maintain a consistent color. Similar to Glazed Apartment, I worked on a project called 77 Reade that also used the yellow color scheme. Yellow is one of my favorite colors to use against white because it creates just enough “pop” without being overbearing, and it’s a color associated with warmth and happiness. With that being said, I definitely give this interior a thumbs up.
