Grow is a minimal home located in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, designed by APOLLO Architects & Associates and completed in 2012. This private residence was constructed on a 65 sqm site for a family in their mid 30s with three children. In cadence with APOLLO’s past projects, the exterior is a beautifully minimal concrete monolith with an angled rooftop.

The rooftop angle serves to extract additional lighting into the home while providing a loft-like and cozy experience for the upper floor rooms. A spiral staircase runs down the home like a spine, and can be viewed from the outside street. The interior looks incredibly sleek and modern, outfitted with the natural wood floors and stark white walls.
