Harley in Da House is a minimalist house located in Kanagawa Japan, designed by THREE.BALL.CASCADE. The site is located on top of a hill in a tightly packed residential neighborhood. The garage is built adjacent to the living room in a way that the vehicle inside the garage is on display to the entire living space.

The second floor has a focus on natural lighting and fresh air, thus the open courtyard. The garage/car seems to be the main focus in this building. I’ve rarely come across buildings that display the garage with large windows that connect with the living room. The home isn’t spectacularly large, yet the garage takes up at over a quarter of the entire floor plan.
