Location: Abtwil, Switzerland

House in Abtwil is a minimal home located in Abtwil, Switzerland, and designed by Sabrina Scheja. The linear two-storey structure has a balcony spanning the perimeter of the upper floors, as well as a terrace with a staggering view of the mountains and cityscape. The mostly white interior is displaced with subtle instances of black framing.

Strangely enough, the first detail the caught my eye was the tiled concrete flooring. I prefer treated concrete floors over wood floors any day. The rest of the time was spent staring at the amazing panoramic view provided by two entire walls of sliding glass doors. The terrace on the upper floor is also an in interesting addition considering how much space it takes up.
