Singapore is known for its highly developed market based economy rooted historically on extended entrepot trade. Singapore also has the world’s highest percentage of millionaires, with one out of every six households having at least one million US dollars in disposable wealth, which means that land in Singapore is rather expensive.
WOW architects did a great job of utilizing every single inch to construct this beautifully designed, modern home. The client for the Sunset Vale wanted to incorporate nature and the climate into the interior. Gardens and water features are seen in between and through rooms, giving the space an airy cool feeling; even as far as into the car garage.
The concrete itself even has organic texture to it, and the granite facing the pools make a great mirror for the surrounding foliage. The tall windows are illuminated by the Eastern sun during the day and the Northern moonlight at night. Many of the rooms are connected via sliding glass doors to open up to accommodate more guests for parties and get-togethers.
