Name: House in Takadanobaba
Designer: Florian Busch Architects
Location: Tokyo, Japan
House in Takadanobaba is a minimalist home located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Florian Busch Architects. This magnificent dwelling is located in the center of Tokyo, which is a testament of luxury and extravagance within itself. The site is positioned in an urban gap left over by urbanized subdivision.
The narrow building slightly resembles a bookshelf, and is completely visible from the front and adjacent walls. The folds in the wall are what provide the home with either its privacy or its natural lighting. The windows extend the entire length, which is pretty long considering how deep the house protracts into the site.
