Library House is a minimal home located in Japan, designed by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates. The living room and dining room of this residence span up to six-meters high. Interestingly, the living and eating area are situated in the center of the home, and can be clearly seen as an extrusion from the foundation.

The entrance sits directly in front of the living room, thus eliminating any superfluous corridors. The house places a significant emphasis on natural lighting, thus the skylight that spans throughout the house, as well as large windows that open up to a courtyard. The reason for the expansive bookcase is due to the fact that the client is an avid reader.
