Lumbrein Residence is a minimalist house located in Lumbrein, Switzerland, designed by Hurst Song Architekten. The home is partially embedded into the steep slopes of the Swiss Alps. The home has vertically clad black-stained timber as its exterior facade, with a roof that is made of copper that eventually oxidizes into the same color as the timber.

Buildings are customarily placed perpendicular to the slope of the hill. Lumbrein Residence has a peculiar concrete frame that accentuates the entrance in the lower right hand corner of the front facade. Darker materials where used in the lower levels while lighter materials were utilized upstairs. A central concrete wall separates the kitchen and living room.
