Location: Beirut, Lebanon

NM Apartment is a minimalist home located in Beirut, Lebanon, designed by Paul Kaloustian Architect. The focus of the renovation was to eliminate all existing elements, and to focus on improving the potentials. The apartment enjoys magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea on one side, and the dense city of the Gemayze district on the other.

Both of these views are intensified by opening up the facades, allowing total transparency. The renovation relies on three curved walls in order to define the space, and reorienting the apartment towards the views by expanding the living room, dining room, and entrance. I love the curved walls which look like enormous columns, giving off an imposing appearance.
