Name: Project Shinmaruko
Designer: Naya Architects
Location: Kawasaki City, Japan
Project Shinmaruko is a minimalist house located in Kawasaki City, Japan, designed by Naya Architects. The first floor encloses the entrance to the garage, with a rental office on the left from the entrance facing the street. Windows are scattered high above the walls to retain privacy and reduce noise levels.
This is actually the type of minimalist interior I prefer: minimalist and ambient with tall ceilings. I also love the flooring materials the architects decided to use, such as the white epoxy in the kitchen, light maple in the living spaces, and dark concrete for the entrance.
