Shibaura House is a minimalist home located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Kazuyo Sejima. The residence is also a unique workshop space that houses discussions of various themes such as art, social issues, design, and lifestyle. The building is completely transparent, and defined by rooms with various shapes and sizes.

The spine of the house is the spiral staircase that runs adjacent to the street. The ground floor of the “house” has an open floor plan to allow for flow between the outside and in the inside. The two levels above the ground floor sits the lounging area, which have desk space for work or study.
