Riviera Apartment is a minimalist apartment located in Nice, France, designed by Studio Cent Soixante. Covering an area of 100 square meters, the redesigned space aims to encapsulate the Mediterranean’s allure, all the while offering a setting that is both modern and opulent. The renovation introduces a layout comprising two bedrooms and two bathrooms, alongside a custom kitchen and island constructed from enamelled lava stone, adding a splash of color to the space. The inclusion of oak for detailing, flooring, and the incorporation of yellow-striped zellige tiles in the shower, all locally sourced, further enhances the apartment’s connection to its regional roots. The architectural design thoughtfully addresses the local climate. By offering windows on opposing walls, the apartment facilitates cross ventilation, significantly reducing the reliance on air conditioning during the warmer months. A notable feature is the bespoke large glass and oak door partition.
