SSENSE MONTRÉAL is a minimalist showroom space located in Montreal, Canada, designed by David Chipperfield Architects. The concept store is a physically representation of the company’s ethos, as well as pays homage to the city. The 13,000 sqft space features Brutalist raw concrete that layers over the original framework. The showroom utilizes a grid system that facilitates flexible floor layouts. The architects used a perforated metal ceiling structure to mask the ductwork while integrating recessed lighting.
