Tab House is a minimalist residence located in Hokuto-shi, Japan, designed by Takanori Ineyama Architects. The clients are a young couple moving from Tokyo to Yamanashi, a region in Japan that has a strong religious background and migrants from the city. Due to the extroverted nature of the clients, the architects wanted to create a space that would welcome guests and surrounding residents. The architect was also conscious in keeping the space energy efficient, as the winters get quite cold.
