Acrobat is a minimalist design created by Paris-based designer Marc Venot. The lamp consists of two parts : a cone-shaped base and an oblong LED light source that are held together by magnets only. This allows Acrobat to adopt almost magical positions that surprise the viewer and challenge the traditional idea of an adjustable lamp. Acrobat has a minimalistic expression and its intelligent design means that it can be used both as a direct and indirect form of lighting. Acrobat is suitable as a desk lamp or to create atmospheric lighting, depending on how the lamp is placed on its base.
