Airline, designed by Balmuda, has been around for a while – but for the purpose of providing inspiration, I’m going to revitalize this magnificent light in this post. Both ecological and ergonomic, Airline uses energy-efficient LEDs as well as a hybrid spring system to facilitate smooth and effortless movement. A sculpture of masculinity, this lamp is sleek and angular, taking much of its influence from aerodynamic design. I have to say, this is one of my favorite lights of all time. Kind of like how all of the furniture in my house point to the TV, I would arrange all of the objects on my desk around this light. This definitely fits into a streamlined, modern aesthetic that’s both functional and beautiful.

Using only 4.5 watts and maintaining 70% of its original brightness even after 50,000 hours of use, the Airline is one of the safest and most energy-efficient desk light available today.

Precise engineering allows for a remarkably smooth yet controlled movement. Combining power, elegance, precision and functionality into one, it is perfect for both computer work and reading use.
