Canisters I are a collection of minimalist containers designed by Madrid-based designer Jorge de la Cruz. The pieces are constructed of Swedish pine, and have a meta wire comb finish. A matte lacquer is then applied to give the surface a smooth finish, and to protect it from external damage.

I love designboom’s DIY submissions – I have caught so many incredible designs just from these article submits alone. Just look at these beautifully minimal containers. The details are intricate, and judging from how Jorge de la Cruz manufacturers these, the quality is impeccable. The video is hypnotic.
