Name: Coffee Maker 2-Cup
Designer: plusminuszero
Location: Japan
Coffee Maker 2-Cup is a minimalist coffee maker designed by Japanese firm plusminuszero. The coffee maker can make two cups of coffee simultaneously, and comes in there different colors: black, beige, and red. The design is incredibly compact – a total of 17cm in width to be exact. In addition, a permanent filter is built-in, rendering paper filters obsolete.
My love for minimalism originated from two Japanese companies: Metaphys and plusminuszero. I am on top of every new design from these two companies. This latest coffee maker is no less impressive from their previous works – most notably, their humidifiers designed by Naoto Fukusawa. It’s beauty is only superseded by its utility. Among everything else, the non-paper filter definitely sold me on this. What do you guys think?
