Location: London, England

Connbox is a minimal design created by England-based designers BERG. The device is a physical product that represents Google’s voice and video chats. The designers experimented with various materials and designs to try and capture the complexities of an always on domestic device.

One of the biggest challenges for this project was to come up with ways in which people would feel comfortable opening up their spaces to each other while creating a device conducive for interaction and conversation. Various creative functions came forth for the design such as creating stills to communicate status.
