Disc is a minimalist design created by Berlin-based designer Robert Fehse. The conception of DISC questions the typology of pendant lamps. A clear graphical language based on the reduction of the spherical bulb to a flat circular object creates its distinct appeal. The steel shade can be attached to a magnetic slider allowing the light to be adjusted in any direction thus creating a playful relation between balance and magnetic force. Using innovative LED edge lighting the lamp provides a strong light in spite of the pared-down volume.
