G3 Vessel is a minimalist container designed by Shinya Yoshida for Good Thing. Designed by a former car mechanic turned product designer, Good Thing’s new G3 Vessels employ subtle flowing compound curves native to the auto industry to create a satisfying and useful series of containers. The G3 Vessels are meant to be used creatively and are handy in the office, bathroom, and kitchen. Since the G3 Vessels are food friendly, and since July 23 marks the start of NYC Restaurant Week, Good Thing has teamed up with two favorite restaurants in New York City to take them for a spin. Visit Mission Chinese Food or Lalito starting July 23, and order a special restaurant-week dish designed to be served in the G3 Vessels. With the release of the G3 Vessels Good Thing continues to experiment with open ended product typologies. By offering an evocative set of forms that lend themselves to a wide variety of uses, the G3 Vessels bring out creativity in their users, whether they be chefs, stamp collectors, makeup artists, or hobbyists.
