Kitchen Appliances is a minimalist collection of kitchen products designed by Tokyo-based designer Naoto Fukasawa for Muji. The designs are consistent with Fukasawa’s muted and quiet aesthetic featuring curved edges while remaining functional. The collection includes a kettle, a rice cooker, and a toaster, and will be available in the USA and a few European countries. The rice cooker features a small lip that serves as a rest for the spoon. The kettle is capable of boiling water in 80 seconds, and features a storage area for the electrical lead.
