The light fixture is suspended on a laser-cut aluminum structure by the cord. The light can be detached to be used as a torch. Concrete is used for its base in order to contrast its imperfection from the laser-cut metal. The base also also a recessed area in which common-day objects can be placed such as keys, change, a phone, etc.
