Loup Fruit Bowl is a minimal design created by India-based designer Saif Faisal for OTHR. Crafted in black or white 3D-printed porcelain, the numbered edition Loup began with a fresh look at an everyday object: the fruit bowl. Its abstract shape expresses its function only when occupied; otherwise, its purpose is left to the user’s imagination. Whether on the mantle or in use, this pared-down kitchen tool adds a subtle elegance to any room. A container to all, the Loup is a fruit bowl reduced to its most essential form. Its minimal material and clean aesthetic prove just as effective as its more cumbersome predecessors. Simple, versatile, and functional, this object takes advantage of the 3D printing process to create a durable porcelain form only viable with this technology.
