Mobile Urn is a minimalist urn created by Mexico City-based designer Moisés Hernández. Invited by the Mexican brand Shelf, along with 13 designers and artists, to design urns that reflect each creator’s interpretation of death. Our proposal seeks a communication between the deceased and the living, a link that connects us to our loved ones. Through the ethereal movement of a steel wire mobile that is light enough to be pushed by the air, the urn breaks staticity with subtle dynamism and holds the remains inside a central marble monolite.
