I’m usually ranting about the minimalistic beauty of Movado watches. When I came across the Obligatory Design Clock, designed by Indian designer, Saikat Biswas, I had a stroke.
Aside from the elegance of its sleek, glassy surface, the functionality of this clock is worth noting as well. The innovative design reformulates the traditional clock by suppressing the minute hand into the hour hand. At the start of every hour, a thin slit – the hour hand – is gradually filled with a contrasting blue to indicate an approximation in minutes.
