O'Leaf by Couvreur.Devos

The O’Leaf, designed by Couvreur & Devos for Modular Lighting Instruments, is an organic light with an interesting and unique shape.

At first, the light reminded me of spatulas – but as I looked more in detail, I started to see the leaf-like structure slowly owning up to its name. My personal favorite would have to be the ceiling light. Its upward pointing angle and protruding form produces a peculiar lighting atmosphere. It’s good to be different; lights rarely receive any attention in a room unless the person viewing it is an interior designer or light expert.

The O’Leaf symolises an elegant flower with the water-thin OLED as the flower petals on a delicate stern.
