Tangible Textural Interface is a minimalist design created by England-based designer Jo Eunhee. The concept basically transits multi-touch capabilities into a more tangible surface: fabric. By pressing into the fabric, the user is capable of changing volume, tracks, and balance.

I think most people’s initial infatuation with design always begins with a concept such as this – a unique, playful, and responsive design that has never been seen before. To be able to immerse and alter the experience in real-time just shows how far we’ve come in terms of technology and UX. I’m excited that Eunhee is developing the technology from prototype to mass production. I will follow this project closely.
