Omoken Park is a minimalist space located in Kumamoto City, Japan, designed by Yabashi Architects. The architects wanted to create a multi-use event space that could be accessible for commercial and public usage. By having openings in the form of slits, not only is power consumption reduced by using natural light, but allows the space to receive open air circulation. The open space is a measure against disasters and environmental changes that has been noticeable in recent years.
