Blue Bottle Coffee Jakc Cafe is a minimal space located in Shanghai, China, designed by Keiji Ashizawa Architects. The site is located on the first and second floors of a building connected to the Kerry Center, which is located in a downtown area that has flourished around the 1,000-year-old Jing’an Temple. The designer was also in charge of the interior and facade design. At first glance, the studio created a rustic concrete façade that was simple yet neat, and placed the Blue Bottle Coffee icon there. As an interior space, based on the idea of creating another building within the building, the architects boldly used roof tiles, which were originally used as exterior materials, as interior elements. The furniture is provided by Karimoku Furniture, which has collaborated with three Blue Bottle Coffee stores in Japan.
