Taíde House is a minimalist house located in Braga, Portugal, designed by Rui Vieira Oliveira + Vasco Manuel Fernandes. The house is the rehabilitation of an old country home with the typical characteristics of popular architecture. It is situated in a small village with the same name located in northern Portugal. The idea was to create a simple house in which one could, for example, conceal the kitchen thus occupying the minimal amount of space.

The granite walls and stairs, which is inspired by the ancient grape mill in the ground floor, serves the basis for the whole proposal. The house organizes itself in two floors: the ground floor contemplates the social area, with the kitchen, guest bathroom, office ,and a double ceiling living room, while the upper floor gives access to the two bedrooms.
