House with Added Veranda is a minimalist residence designed by Tokyo-based architects Hiroki Tominaga. The renovation included an expansion of the outdoor balcony that would slightly reduce the indoor square footage. Wood panels on the ceiling would extend outward toward the balcony to create a seamless relationship between the exterior and interior, especially when the sliding doors are opened.
