House in Kanamechou is a minimalist residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Go Eto Architects & Associates. The building is located on a corner lot on a moderately busy street. As a result, the architects wanted to provide privacy for the residents by creating a balcony space that also serves as a visual barrier. In order to obtain additional natural light, the architects strategically placed skylights throughout the home to receive a constant flow of light during the day.
