Lani is a minimal Japanese home located in Gunma, Japan, designed by *studio LOOP. The front facade is completely windowless, while the interior encloses a swimming pool, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glazings, accessible via sliding doors. While the courtyard provides natural lighting, skylights illuminate the deeper portions of the interior. A low concrete wall lines the perimeter of the plot and provides a physical barrier from the neighbors.
