Takaban Apartment is a minimalist apartment located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by KOBAYASHI401. The building is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and is characterized by rectilinear volumes protruding from the main facade. From the interior, these protrusions provide an additional seating area for residents, allowing them to relax or lay next to the window. The apartment features 18 units encompassing four floors, and is constructed mainly of reinforced concrete.
