Asana is a minimal series of ergonomic tools created by Eindhoven-based designer Mirjam de Bruijn. The amount companies that make use of flex spaces is increasing. They offer fantastic facilities, from the best coffee to the newest designer furniture. It all looks great, but nothing is done to address the health issues brought on by working in flex spaces. The furniture is often not made for the office and cannot be adjusted to ones measurements. More and more people end up at the physiotherapist with complaints such as poor blood circulation, back problems and RSI. Asana is designed to help prevent and alleviate such problems. The series of tools improves posture, strengthens muscles and stimulates blood flow. The tools are designed to look inviting and in tune with a modern aesthetic as opposed to current offerings, which are more like medical aids than something you want to be seen using.
