Hood is a minimalist sofa designed by Berlin-based designer Geckeler Michels for COMMON. Hood is a plain and clean looking armless sofa with a seamless backrest. The key visual elements are the embossed cushions on the seat surface, delimited by stitched pipings. The collection offers a range of entry price basics. Whilst being truly casual through their basic function, armless sofas offer some extras for all-around users – we love the fact that one can easily sleep on the couch since no armrests are in the way. Not to forget the famous facing-down reading position, where the book is lying on the floor and one’s head is hanging over the sofa’s edge.
