Casa Donella is a minimalist house located in Provincia di Bergamo, Italy, designed by Zupelli Design Architettura. The refurbishment used the context of the original building as a starting point for the project. The architects wanted to emphasize some of the original elements of the previous farmhouse, such as the pitched roof and exposed beams. This combination of tradition and modernity is clearly visible in the front elevation, where on the ground floor large arched glass openings, of classical derivation, have been placed, while at the upper levels there are opposed architectural elements.
