Templeton Garden is a minimalist hotel located in London, England, designed by Thurstan in collaboration with Holland & Harvey, Cox London, Tess Newall, and Art Story. This Miiro lifestyle brand property in leafy historic Earl’s Court – once a rural idyll neighborhood and home to writers Beatrix Potter and Agatha Christie, now evolved into one of the capital’s most well-connected hubs – features 156 rooms and suites, some with their own balconies and many revealing gorgeous views of the verdant garden or Templeton Place, with each space designed as a calming city retreat.

The property’s unique garden forms the green heart of the hotel while upholding the area’s leafy heritage, where contemporary design seamlessly blends with timeless English elegance. Guests can choose from eight individually designed room options including Single, Classic, Classic – Garden View, Twin, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite, and Templeton Garden Suite categories, with the latter offering the luxury of a private garden or direct access to the main garden. This varied room typology demonstrates how boutique hotels can accommodate different guest needs and budgets within a unified design language.

Collaborating with some of the most highly-acclaimed British designers, studios and consultancies, Templeton Garden’s contemporary interiors have been carefully thought out to create a peaceful sanctuary for guests and locals alike. The bar features a custom illuminated oak branch chandelier designed and crafted by Cox London to echo the surrounding area, bringing the outside in and incorporating a nod to the property’s own vibrant garden. The restaurant and bar house a bespoke mural designed and hand-painted on site by decorative artist Tess Newall, inspired by the foliage growing in the garden, which further instills serenity in the space.

The restaurant and bar at Templeton Garden are truly the beating heart of the property, both overlooking the hotel’s own garden and pulling much of their inspiration from British seasons. Sprout is a neighborhood bar offering a dynamic menu which features both signature mainstays and an ever-changing selection of serves, using a market-stall ethos and incorporating traceable ingredients at the height of their season, including freshly grown herbs from the hotel garden.

Pippin’s is a modern British restaurant located in the heart of the hotel, led by Head Chef Liam Fauchard-Newman. With 62 covers, the large home-from-home dining room features an open kitchen and indoor-outdoor seating. Liam has created menus that evoke a sense of nostalgia, sourcing local foods that are woven throughout the menus, with foraged elements from the restaurant’s own garden incorporated into some of the dishes. The menu features established flavor combinations including rhubarb and custard, and chicken and chips.
