Aizumi is a minimalist house located in Tokushima, Japan, designed by Fujiwarramuro Architects. The home is surrounded by roads on three sides with a large garage at the center of the building to house the client’s collection of cars, motorbikes, and bicycles. The architects proposed a tear-drop shaped design in order to contrast against the angular buildings adjacent the site. The home features an internal courtyard, allowing natural light to flow into the main living programs.
