Annex is a minimalist building located in Kyoto, Japan, designed by ALPHAVILLE. The space features a bare aesthetic with wood overlaying the walls and portions of the ceiling. A wooden counter extends from the sink into the community room with wooden stools to match. The exterior features vertical wooden slats, spaced apart to create a pattern of tiny openings.
