CGNR is a minimalist house located in Sapporo, Japan, designed by Archilab T+M. The residence is for a single family, constructed mainly of steel. The home is extended to allow for another family to reside given the Japanese tradition for the resident’s parents to move in after a certain period. The reconstructed spaces involved removing three private rooms, and renovating the bathroom and kitchen.
