Court House is a minimal home located in Shimojima, Japan, designed by Koizumi Sekkei. The architects wanted to create a new relationship between an indoor basketball court and a living space. The layout arrangement of this home is inspired by the typical gymnasium layout, where the court is planned at the core of the space, with rooms located on opposite sides of the court. The center court is also designed to be multi-purpose, with the possibility of becoming a home library in the future.
